unvoiced (2016)
for voice and live electronics.
In its overall form the piece performs a transition from voiceless (or unvoiced) noisy vocal sounds towards pitched sounds. The noisy micro turbulences and fluctuations excite and condition the processes of the electronics. The filter characteristics of the vocal cavity are used to filter the electronic feedback process. In doing so, the piece explores a relation of electronics and voice as two autonomous but connected processes that encounter each other on a purely material level.
